Every day at 9:00 a.m., we observe a moment of silence in memory of all the dead who gave their lives for Ukraine due to Russian aggression.

Today, Lviv Oblast says goodbye to defenders:

🕯️ Pavlo Dobosh

Originally from the village of Bolekhivtsi. He served as part of the territorial defense forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. On January 15, he died while performing a combat mission in the Donetsk direction. He is survived by his father, wife and two-year-old son.

🕯️ Nazar Boyko

Originally from the village of Zakolot of the Skhidnytsk community. He was an anti-aircraft gunner. He went to war as a volunteer in 2022. As a result of mortar shelling, the soldier died on January 14, 2024 from wounds received while performing a combat mission in the area of Novomykhailivka settlement, Pokrovsky district, Donetsk region. He is survived by his mother and father.

🕯️ Ihor Lekhush

Originally from the city of Stebnyk. He served in the special unit “Kraken” of the GUR of the Ministry of Defense. The hero died on January 16 during enemy shelling of Ukrainian positions. The defender is survived by his father, mother, brother, grandfather and grandmother.

🕯️ Roman Skrypets

A resident of the village of Verkhnya Stynava of the Grabovetska-Dulibivsk community, an assistant shooter of the 3rd aeromobile unit of the military unit.

Died on January 14 while performing a combat mission in the area of Biloghirivka, Luhansk region. The soldier is survived by his parents and two children.

🕯️ Vasyl Kravets

Originally from the village of Verchany of the Stryi community. He was a junior sergeant, an electrician of the department of maintenance of armored vehicles of the repair and restoration battalion of military unit A0666.

From 2015 to 2016, he participated in the anti-terrorist operation in Luhansk region. From the beginning of the full-scale war, he went to defend Ukraine. Died on January 15 near Andriivka, Bakhmut District, while performing a combat mission.

🕯️ Volodymyr Goy

A resident of the village of Zimna Voda. The soldier served in the Zaporizhzhia region since September 2023. He died on January 11, 2024.

The defender is survived by his mother, father, and sister.

🕯️ Vadim Gluhenky

Originally from Chervonograd. He was a senior rifleman of a separate rifle battalion of military unit A 4832. The defender died on January 14 while performing a combat mission in Donetsk region.

🕯️ Ihor Melnychuk

Originally from the village of Hirnyk, Chervonohrad community. The hero defended Ukraine back in 2014. After a full-scale invasion, the Russian Federation again went to defend Ukraine. Served in military unit A0284. I was at home at the moment.
