Lviv region says goodbye to four defenders today

Every day at 9 o’clock, we observe a minute of silence in memory of all those who have lost their lives for Ukraine because of Russian aggression.

Today Lviv region says goodbye to its defenders:

🕯️ Volodymyr Yevstafiyev

A native of the village of Zhovta Krucha, Zaporizhzhia region.

With the beginning of the full-scale invasion of Russia, he volunteered to defend his homeland in the ranks of the 15th Operational Brigade named after the Hero of Ukraine, Lieutenant Bohdan Zavada. He performed combat missions on the southern and eastern directions.

🕯️ Gennadiy Mykhalev

A native of Donetsk.

From the first days of the full-scale invasion of Russia, the Mykhalov family moved to Lviv, and he voluntarily joined the 57th separate motorised infantry brigade named after Kosh Ataman Kostya Hordiyenko to defend the state. He defended the state in Mykolaiv, Odesa and Kharkiv regions.

🕯️ Roman Seneyko

A resident of the village of Trushevychi, Dobromyl community. He was a soldier of the A1962 military unit. He died on 27 February in the intensive care unit of a hospital in Krasnohrad, Kharkiv region.

🕯️ Tetiana Chubenko

Originally from Lysychansk.

After the armed aggression of the Russian army in eastern Ukraine and the temporary occupation of the city of Lysychansk, Tetiana joined the 24th Mechanised Brigade, where she gained military experience. She moved to Yavoriv. After the start of the full-scale invasion, she performed her duty with courage as part of the 101st Brigade of the terrorist defence forces. She was a sanitary instructor. She died on 27 February 2024 while on a business trip to a military unit to take a basic military training course.
