Today, the Lviv region bids farewell to four defenders

Lviv Region Honors the Memory of Fallen Ukrainian Heroes

Every day at 9:00 AM, we honor the bright memory of all who gave their lives defending Ukraine from Russian aggression with a moment of silence.

🕯 Rostyslav Buryak

A resident of Didyliv village in the Novoyarychiv community of the Lviv district. He served as a soldier in the machine gun platoon of the fire support company, military unit A4574.

He was killed on December 5 near Uspenivka village in the Pokrovsk district of Donetsk region. He was 44 years old.

🕯 Volodymyr Vorobets

A Lviv resident who served in the 80th Separate Airborne Assault Brigade during the Anti-Terrorist Operation (ATO) from 2015 to 2017.

Since the start of Russia’s full-scale invasion, he defended Ukraine on the southern and eastern fronts with military unit A4979. For personal heroism, he was awarded the “Steel Cross” badge by the Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

🕯 Oleh Pashkovskyi

A native of Bendyuga village in the Sheptytskyi district.

He joined the Armed Forces of Ukraine in September 2023 and served as a senior sergeant, commander of a rifle unit in military unit A4805.

In March 2024, he sustained a mine-explosive injury in the Donetsk region but returned to defend his country after lengthy treatment, despite ongoing health issues. He passed away on November 18 while undergoing treatment.

🕯 Volodymyr Teterko

A resident of Khlyvchany village in the Belz community of the Sheptytskyi district. He joined the Armed Forces of Ukraine in August 2024. He was killed on December 3 in the Kursk region of the Russian Federation.
