Lviv Region Bids Farewell to Heroes Who Gave Their Lives for Ukraine

Every day at 9:00 a.m., we honor the memory of all who died defending Ukraine against Russian aggression. Today, Lviv region pays tribute to five defenders whose courage and sacrifice will never be forgotten.

🕯️ Mykola Bohoslavskyi
A native of Lopushanka-Khomyna in the Strilkivska community. He served as a commander of a rifle unit in military unit A7371. Mykola passed away on December 10, just before his 50th birthday.

🕯️ Mykhailo Dmyterko
A resident of Bibrka. He served as a senior rifle operator in the 24th Separate Mechanized Brigade named after King Danylo. Mykhailo died on November 25 during an assault in the Donetsk region. He was 50 years old.

🕯️ Andrii Loza
A resident of Lviv, who joined the defense of Ukraine at the beginning of the full-scale invasion. He served in the 425th Separate Assault Battalion “Skala” and carried out combat missions in the Donetsk region. Andrii lost his life on December 4 at the age of 42.

🕯️ Victor Kozyrskyi
A resident of Lviv who enlisted in the Armed Forces of Ukraine at the start of the invasion. He served in the 47th Separate Mechanized Brigade “Mahura.” Despite a serious injury, he returned to the frontline. Victor died on December 2 at the age of 41.

🕯️ Stefan Kapii
A native of Dublyany. He signed a contract with the Armed Forces of Ukraine in December 2020 and fought in the 24th Separate Mechanized Brigade named after King Danylo. He faced the beginning of the full-scale invasion on the front lines and carried out missions in the Donetsk direction. Stefan died on November 13 at the age of 43.
