Today Lviv Oblast says goodbye to five defenders

Today in Lviv Oblast they are saying goodbye to defenders

A native of Lviv. After completing his studies, he completed his military service in the city of Volodymyr (formerly Volodymyr-Volynskyi) of the Volyn region, earning the rank of “senior sergeant”. He was an exceptional patriot of his state and took an active part in the events during the Revolution of Dignity. After the death of his nephew in the battles with the Russian invaders, he joined the ranks of the 103rd Separate Territorial Defense Brigade of the Territorial Defense Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. He defended the state in the eastern direction, and was awarded numerous departmental awards. He was seriously wounded while performing a combat mission. The soldier is survived by his mother, sisters, brothers, godchildren, extended family and many friends.

Vasyl Bologna

 

 

A resident of the village of Pochaevychi, Drogobytsk community. Served as a driver of a motorized infantry unit as part of the 10th Separate Mountain Assault Brigade HC A-4267. On September 24, 2023, the soldier died while performing combat missions on the Bakhmut direction of the front, coming under artillery fire. The soldier is survived by his father, mother, sister, brother-in-law and two nieces.

Oleksandr Bobyk

A resident of Brody, Zolochiv district. He was drafted into the service in 2014. Senior aviation technician of the engineering and aviation service of the aviation squadron. Died during rocket fire in Mykolaiv. The defender is survived by his parents and sister.

Maryan Sohovich

A native of the city of Radekhiv. A soldier in HV A0284 was in military service. For some time, Maryan was considered missing. Subsequently, the Defender’s body was exhumed and a DNA examination was conducted. Died on January 30, 2023 while performing a combat mission in the Donetsk region.

Mykola Pavelko

A native of Prylbychi village, Novoyavorivska community. Mykola became a combat medic, because he went to the front in an assault plane as part of the airborne assault troops. His wife, a nurse, packed a large first-aid kit for the soldier, which he used to save his comrades more than once. So soon Mykola was officially elected as a combat medic. Died on September 22 during enemy fire on the battlefield in the Zaporizhzhia region. His wife and daughter, father, wife’s parents, brothers with their families, and brothers-in-law were waiting for the soldier at home.
