Lviv region says goodbye to a defender today
🕯 Andrii Shevchuk
Born in Lviv to a military family. He graduated from the Tallinn Higher Military and Political Construction School. He studied at the National Defence University of Ukraine. He is a lieutenant colonel. He also served in the Sambir and Lviv garrisons.
From the first days of the full-scale invasion, he voluntarily joined the 125th separate territorial defence brigade. He was the head of the automotive service in Kharkiv and Donetsk regions. He was repeatedly awarded decorations by the Ministry of Defence of Ukraine and the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
