Every day at 9:00 a.m., Ukraine observes a nationwide moment of silence to honor all those who have died defending the country from Russian aggression.
Today, the Lviv region pays tribute to three of its fallen defenders.
🕯️ Arsen Lev
A 24-year-old resident of Drohobych. At the beginning of the full-scale invasion, he volunteered to join the Armed Forces of Ukraine. He served as a combat medic in the 3rd Assault Brigade and was stationed on the front lines. He sustained injuries this past winter and underwent a lengthy recovery. After returning home for rehabilitation, he tragically died in a traffic accident on April 15.
🕯️ Andrii Kiyashko
A resident of Mykolaiv village in Stryi district. He was killed in action during a combat mission near the village of Andriivka in the Volnovakha district of Donetsk region. He was 42 years old.
🕯️ Andrii Chobit
A soldier from the village of Butyny, part of the Velykomostivska community in Sheptytskyi district. He joined the Armed Forces in July 2024 and served as a sniper-rifleman in the assault unit of military unit A4848. He had been missing in action since September 26, 2024, during a combat operation near the village of Vodiane, Volnovakha district. His death was later confirmed.
Lviv region bids farewell to its Heroes. Their courage and sacrifice will forever remain in the memory of a grateful nation.
