On June 16, the Lviv community will say goodbye to Hero Ihor Rusanovsky, who died defending Ukraine from the Russian invaders.
Yes, the funeral ceremony for the fallen serviceman will begin on June 16, at 3:00 p.m. in the yard of Hero’s family home in the village of Zashkiv After that, the cortege with the deceased will go to the church of St. Archangel Michael, located in Zashkov on the street. There is Konovaltsia, 153, and then – to the local cemetery.
The Mayor’s Office calls on the residents of the Lviv community and guests to take part in the farewell to the Hero and to refrain from entertaining events and celebrations during this time.

He studied at the Yevhen Konovalts Zashkiv secondary comprehensive school of grades I-III of the Lviv City Council (now the Lyceum). Subsequently, he obtained vocational and technical education in Lviv.
In peacetime, he worked in Bryukhovytsia Forestry and Lviv Forestry. He was fond of fishing.
With the beginning of a full-scale invasion of the Russian Federation, he stood up to protect the state from the invaders. He defended its territorial integrity and independence in the ranks of the 95th separate airborne assault brigade of the Airborne Assault Troops of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
Igor Rusanovsky is survived by his parents, wife, 8-year-old daughter, sister, goddaughter and mother-in-law.
