Every day at 9:00 a.m., Ukraine observes a moment of silence to honor all those who have died defending the nation from Russian aggression.
Today, the Lviv region bids farewell to its hero, Vasyl Kozhushko, a native of the village of Maheriv in the Dobrosyn-Maheriv community.
Since April 2023, Vasyl had been defending Ukraine’s independence. He bravely carried out his duties to protect the nation. Tragically, he lost his life on December 21 in the village of Novolyubivka in the Svatove district of Luhansk region, succumbing to fatal injuries caused by a drone strike.
Eternal memory to the hero. Glory to all who have sacrificed their lives for Ukraine’s freedom.
