Today Lviv region says goodbye to its defenders
Vasyl Lavrys
A native of Rava-Ruska, Lviv region. Senior lieutenant. With the beginning of the full-scale invasion of the Russian Federation, he defended the state from the Russian invaders. He performed combat missions in the ranks of the 41st Separate Mechanised Brigade of the Land Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. For his courage and bravery, he was awarded a number of state decorations.
Ruslan Luknytskyi
Originally from the village of Seredkevychi.
In 2020, he graduated with honours from the Sahaidachnyi Army Academy. After graduation, he signed a contract with the 24th King Danylo Brigade. He took part in battles in the Luhansk and Donetsk regions and was appointed platoon commander. At the time of the full-scale invasion, the defender was at the front. He had been missing since April 2022.
