On August 5, the Sokal community met the young Hero of Ukraine Roman Bobeshko. Today, the community of Sokal met the body of the hero Roman Bobeshko.
Many residents of the city came, as Roman was born and lived in the city. This was reported by Father Volodymyr Zharsky.
The Hero of Ukraine, soldier Roman, was met near the Church of the Holy Apostles Peter and Paul.
Father Yaroslav Kashchuk addressed the grieving family and expressed his sincere condolences to the family.
He also said that Roman loved Ukraine very much and gave his life for the independence and freedom of Ukraine.
Father Yaroslav said that all religions in the world honor their dead in a special way, but Ukrainians pay their last respects to their Heroes who went to defend them, such as Roman Bobeshko and other soldiers of Light.
According to Yuriy Korin, the people of Sokal met the Hero in his native land with a human corridor. With tears in their eyes, feelings of regret and despair, the community residents came out to the main road to meet the body of the fallen Hero with dignity. The brave warrior defended not only Ukraine, but also each of us, our freedom and independence. Human life is priceless, the soul is immortal, and the memory of Heroes is eternal!
The Lord accepts them and gives them a reward in the Kingdom of Heaven.

As reported by Holos Sokalshchyny, a defender from Sokal, Roman Bobeshko, was killed in Donetsk region. On July 30, 2024, as a result of enemy assault near the village of Hryhorivka, Donetsk region, Bobeshko Roman Ihorovych, born on 22.08.1996, a resident of Sokal, died.
