Honoring the Memory of Captain Dmytro Herula, Fallen in the Combat Zone
DMYTRO HERULA (22.07.1970-27.04.2025) – captain, officer of the electronic warfare service. He graduated from Obertyn Secondary School in the Tlumach District of Ivano-Frankivsk Region. From 1987 to 1990, he studied at the Kaliningrad Aviation Higher School. From 1990 to 2000, he served in Kaliningrad, Kolomyia, Ivano-Frankivsk, and Stryi. He worked as the shift supervisor of carpenters at LLC ‘Leon’. At the start of the full-scale invasion, he served in the Armed Forces of Ukraine. From 2024, he was the head of electronic warfare of the First Separate Assault Regiment of the Land Forces, 108th Battalion, 59th Brigade ‘Da Vinci Wolves’. He died defending the homeland in the combat zone.

Farewell to the Hero
We meet the Hero today, April 29, at 4:00 PM in the village of Piatnychany. The farewell will take place at the Church of the Annunciation, Stryi.
