Recently, the Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, General Valery Zaluzhny, awarded the “Golden Cross” to Roman Mykhailovych Syroyd, a soldier of the 24th Separate Mechanized Brigade named after King Danylo, from Sokal.
He received the award near Bakhmut.
Roman is 29 years old, brave, honest, he has been defending Ukraine since the first days of the full-scale invasion.
Fighting in the “hottest” spots of Ukraine. He admits that the award from General Zaluzhnyi was a surprise for him and at the same time an incentive to continue defending his native Ukrainian land from the invader.
