The Sokal community lost another Hero in the war – Oleksandr Evgenovich Polishchuk, born in 1982, a resident of Sokal.
The sad news was reported in the Sokal City Council
The defender served as a driver-mechanic of the 3rd assault department of the 1st assault platoon of the 6th assault company of the 2nd assault battalion in the A-4010 military unit. He died on October 20 in the area of the village of Ivanivske, Donetsk region, during enemy mortar fire, honorably performing his military duty.
We sincerely sympathize with the Hero’s mother – Vera Vasylivna, on the occasion of the heavy loss – the death of her dearest son. We grieve together with you, we support you in the hour of sorrow.
We expect the arrival of the convoy with the body of the fallen Hero tomorrow in the afternoon, we will inform you about the exact time.
