On 8 September at 22:42, a fire was reported in Lviv at 8 Honty Street. The fire started in a stairwell on the fourth floor of a five-storey residential building.
As it turned out, household items over an area of 15 square metres were on fire. The fire caused heavy smoke.
Upon arrival at the scene, firefighters donned special respiratory and eye protection equipment and began extinguishing the fire. The fire was contained at 23:22 and extinguished at 23:41.
A total of 20 rescuers and 4 units of specialised equipment were engaged in the firefighting operations.
Fortunately, no one was injured. Experts are investigating the cause of the fire.
