Lviv to Bid Farewell to Heroes Myroslav Lushchak and Ihor Hromoklytskyi

Tomorrow, January 8, Lviv will honor the memory of two brave servicemen, Myroslav Lushchak and Ihor Hromoklytskyi, who gave their lives defending Ukraine from Russian aggression. The city council urges residents and visitors to join the farewell ceremony and refrain from entertainment activities on this solemn day.

Myroslav Lushchak’s Biography

A talented musician, Myroslav mastered the synthesizer and accordion. Following the full-scale invasion, he joined the 7th Border Carpathian Detachment, serving in combat missions in the Kharkiv and Donetsk regions.

He is survived by his grandmother, mother, wife, daughter, and other close relatives.

Ihor Hromoklytskyi’s Biography

Before the war, Ihor worked in the cosmetics manufacturing sector, practiced boxing, and was passionate about history. In 2014, his family relocated to Lviv. With the onset of the full-scale invasion, Ihor joined the 155th Separate Mechanized Brigade of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

He is survived by his wife and daughter.
