The Sheptytsky City Council has created a digital “Book of Memory” to honour the fallen defenders

The most important thing is to keep the name of each Hero in memory

The Sheptytsky City Council has created a digital “Book of Memory” to honour the Heroes who gave their lives for the sake of Ukraine’s freedom and independence.

This book of remembrance is not just a list of names, it is special stories of incredible courage, strength of spirit and self-sacrifice for the sake of our native land and for the sake of each of us; these are the stories of Heroes that we must know today and preserve for future generations.

Currently, the book contains 228 stories of the fallen soldiers of the Russian-Ukrainian war who stood up to defend the state since 2014.

“The Book of Memory is located in the information kiosk on the ground floor of the administrative building, and the project was implemented through the cooperation of the Digital Transformation, Information Policy and Transparency Department of the City Council and the Warrior’s House.
