A memorial plaque was installed in Svitazevo to Boris Stepaniuk, who died in the war against the Russian occupier

On November 8, 2022, Borys Bogdanovich Stepaniuk, a resident of the village of Svitaziv, died. Cheerful, active, loved life, Ukraine, and laid down his life for it.

There is no person in Svytazev who would not remember him from a positive side, he was a person who had “golden hands and a heart”.

From an early age, he was brought up in a patriotic family, when a summons came from the military commissariat, without thinking, he picked up a weapon and went to defend Ukraine.

On November 16, 2022, Boris Bogdanovich died in a heavy battle near the village of Belogorivka in Luhansk region. To this day, his mother, Larisa Volodymyrivna, daughters Yana and Liliya cannot believe this terrible news. Every day they pray for his soul…

Classmates who studied with Hero at Ilkovitsa school initiated the installation of a memorial plaque in memory of Boris Stepaniuk. Father Yaroslav Kashchuk consecrated it today. Mayor Serhii Kasyan expressed his gratitude for the worthy upbringing of the son – the patriot of Hero’s mother, Larisa Stepaniuk. A large family, mother, daughters, classmates, friends, school students – no one hid tears, because Ukraine is paying too high a price in this cruel war.

The Ilkovit school now has two commemorative plaques installed on its facade, two graduates who gave their lives for Ukraine – Andriy Kostenetskyi and Borys Stepaniuk.

We believe that Ukraine will win this war, and may God help us in this! Glory to Ukraine! Glory to heroes!
