Ukrainian Soldier Recovering in Lviv after 25 Surgeries and Painting Artwork

A 23-year-old serviceman from Rivne Region, who sustained eight gunshot wounds and nearly lost his legs, is undergoing rehabilitation at the UNBROKEN center in Lviv. Artem Parkhomchuk, a soldier of the Third Assault Brigade, began his military service at the age of 18. The full-scale invasion caught him in the Kharkiv region, and he later joined the 3rd Separate Assault Brigade, where he was wounded in Avdiivka last winter.

At the UNBROKEN Center, Artem became passionate about art and began painting pictures, which will be exhibited at the Mercury Gallery. All proceeds from the sales of the artworks will go towards supporting artistic activities for the center’s patients.
