The Sheptytska community is in mourning once again as Ukraine has lost another brave defender—Oleksandr Ivanovych Buzunar, born in 1986.
A soldier and gunner of the airborne assault unit of military unit A0281, he lost his life on March 8 while performing a combat mission near the village of Oleshnya in the Kursk region of the Russian Federation.
We owe an immeasurable debt to this Hero who defended our freedom and independence. Our deepest condolences go out to his family and loved ones. We share in the grief of this irreparable loss and bow our heads in sorrow.
It is our solemn duty to remember the high price our defenders pay for Ukraine’s peaceful future. Eternal glory and bright memory to the Hero!
