On May 17-18, Chervonohrad Children’s and Youth Sports School No. 1 will host a volleyball tournament in memory of the Hero Mykola Klontsak among young men born in 2009-2010.
Teams from Podilsk, Kovel, Stryi, Lviv, Novovolynsk, and Chervonohrad will take part in the competition.
The organizers of the sporting event are the Chervonohrad “House of Warrior” and the Children’s and Youth Sports School No. 1 with the support of the Chervonohrad City Council.
From the beginning of the full-scale invasion, 22-year-old Hero Mykola Klontsak defended Ukraine as part of the 53rd separate rifle battalion. He died during a combat mission on March 11, 2023 near Bakhmut, Donetsk region.
