Grief again came to the Sokal community. Sad news was received from the front – on June 9, 2023, during artillery shelling of positions in the vicinity of the settlement of Mala Tokmachka, Zaporizhzhia region, the shooter – assistant grenade launcher of military unit A4447 Yaroslav Bogdanovich PROCAYLO, born in 1985, resident of Zhvyrka, went missing.
On April 15 of this year, Hero’s body was identified.
We express our sincere condolences to Hero’s mother, brother and the entire family.
Tomorrow, May 1, at 3 p.m., we will meet the body of Yaroslav Protsayl in Sokal near the church of St. Peter and Paul, then the funeral cortege will go to the Church of the Holy Spirit in the village of Zhvyrka, and from there to the native home of the Defender (Shuhevicha Street).
The memorial service will be held tomorrow at 7:00 p.m. at Yaroslav’s parents’ house.
The funeral will begin on Thursday, May 2, at 12:00 p.m.
Yaroslav Protsayl will be buried on the Alley of Glory at the Zhvyrkiv Cemetery.
We ask the community to put aside all pre-Easter worries and come to meet and say goodbye to the Hero who died for each of us.
