Tomorrow, Drohobych will say goodbye to Ihor Predeus, who died in the Zaporizhzhia region

After long months of hope and expectations, and later lengthy DNA tests, the body of Hero Ihor Predeus, who defended Ukraine since 2014 and died a brave death at the hands of Moscow executioners, was returned to his native land. The warrior’s body will finally rest in his native Ukrainian land, and his soul will find eternal peace.

The sad news was reported in the Drohobytsk City Council.

Ihor Predeus was born on June 6, 1985 in the village of Novoselyvka, Zaporizhzhia region. Graduated from Berdyansk University.

Since 2014, Ihor has defended the territorial integrity of Ukraine in the ATO zone. He lived in Drohobych since 2017. For some time he worked at JSC Metal Group.

As soon as the full-scale invasion began, Ihor rejoined the ranks of the defenders of Ukraine on February 25, 2022. Performed difficult tasks in hot spots of the front, destroying enemies and protecting Ukraine.

Unfortunately, on August 29, 2022, contact with the soldier was lost, after which there was a long search and clarification of information. It was not long before it was possible to return the defender – the tortured remains of the Hero were returned during the exchange of the bodies of the dead defenders of “Azovstal”. After that there were long DNA tests and only now the parents of the deceased will finally be able to bury their son so that his soul can find eternal peace.

Hero’s family members include his mother, father, brother, son and daughter.
