As a result of a night attack by Russians on Lviv, a warehouse worker was killed. Video

During the air alert, which began at 03:40 and lasted almost 2.5 hours, Lviv region was attacked by Shahed-type kamikaze drones

This was announced by the head of LOVA Maksym Kozytskyi.

As reported by the Main Department of the State Emergency Service of Lviv region, at 9:46 a.m., the fire of warehouse buildings was contained on a total area of 9,400 square meters. The body of one person was found. 2 more people were injured, of which 1 person was hospitalized. Fire suppression continues. Firefighting is involved in the works.

According to preliminary information, 18 such drones flew in the direction of our region. 15 of them were shot down by the Air Command “West” of the Air Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. Seven were shot down directly in the airspace of the Lviv region. The numbers may still change a little, the information is being clarified, but even now you can imagine the scale of the attack and the scale of the work that was done by the Air Defense of the region.

There are fires in four locations in the warehouses. The fire is still being extinguished. I want to emphasize that these are ordinary industrial warehouses. Nothing military was kept on them.

The video shows the consequences of a night attack by “shahedas” on an industrial warehouse in Lviv. The burning area is over 9,000 square meters. The fire is still being extinguished – about 125 employees of the Main Department of the State Emergency Service of Ukraine in the Lviv region and more than 30 pieces of equipment.

On Sunday, we congratulated our rescuers on their professional holiday and thanked them for their loyalty to the oath and courage. Today, we can clearly see the conditions under which they have to work. Kudos to you!
Huge gratitude to our Air Defense Forces for the fact that these “martyrs” did not take the lives and homes of the residents of the region.
Thank you to the rescuers and law enforcement officers who quickly arrived at the scene and are acting in a very coordinated manner.

We hold on. We do not ignore air alarms. God, truth and the Armed Forces are with us, so the victory will definitely be ours!
