During the visit, the Head of State presented awards to Ukrainian soldiers.
During a working trip to the Lviv region, the President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy visited one of the hospitals where wounded Ukrainian defenders who fought, in particular, in the Bakhmut direction, are being treated. The head of state spoke with the military and wished them a speedy recovery.
“Thank you for your service, for the heroic defense of our homeland. I wish you a speedy recovery,” said the President.
Volodymyr Zelensky presented state awards to military personnel. In particular, mortarmen, marksmen, anti-aircraft gunners, grenade launchers, and combat medics received the orders of Bohdan Khmelnytsky III degree and “For Courage” III degree.
As the President was told, in order to provide highly specialized medical care to Ukrainian defenders, the medical institution has established cooperation with leading specialists of the best clinics in the USA and Great Britain regarding the implementation of modern minimally invasive and high-tech surgical interventions in the field of plastic and reconstructive surgery, as well as the latest methods of rehabilitation medicine. In addition, employees of the medical service regularly conduct classes on tactical medicine with active military personnel.
For the provision of qualified medical assistance to soldiers, the Head of State awarded orders to Danylo Halytskyi, representatives of the Medical Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
“I want to thank you for your work, for your service, especially this year. It was the most difficult test for everyone. Thank you for putting so many of our soldiers, our heroes on their feet,” the President said.
Volodymyr Zelenskyy emphasized that the state sees and highly values the work of military medics.
“I wish you all health and victory,” added Volodymyr Zelenskyi.
