The President of Ukraine thanked our soldiers and units, which have distinguished themselves in the defense of the state since the beginning of this week.
OSUV “Khortytsia” – the 3rd and 5th separate assault brigades and the 28th separate mechanized brigade named after the Knights of the Winter Campaign.
OSUV “Tavria” – soldiers of the 44th separate artillery brigade named after Hetman Danylo Apostol, 55th separate artillery brigade “Zaporizka Sich”, our glorious “Fifty Nine” – 59th separate motorized infantry brigade named after Yakov Handziuk and 79th separate brigade of the DSHV .
Landslide “Odesa” – I thank the fighters of the 406th separate artillery brigade named after Colonel-General Oleksiy Almazov for the excellent results in destroying the enemy’s concentration points!
“Our National Guard units have something to celebrate this week. In particular, the soldiers of the 1st and 14th operational brigades of the National Guard, who, together with all the defense and security forces of Ukraine, protect our state in Donetsk and Luhansk regions. “Thank you, National Guardsmen, for your steadfastness and your ability to move the former “second army of the world” lower and lower in the list of military forces with the forces of your intelligence and artillery,” the Head of State emphasized.
The day before, Volodymyr Zelensky signed a new decree on honoring our soldiers with state awards. These are servicemen of the airborne assault troops: the 25th Separate Airborne Sicheslav Brigade, the 46th Separate Airborne Brigade, the 95th Separate Airborne Assault Brigade, the 132nd Separate Reconnaissance Battalion, the 148th Separate Artillery Division and the 199th and the educational center of the DSHV.
“I met with the special adviser of the President of Brazil on international issues. They discussed the possibility of holding a summit in the Ukraine-Latin America format. Once again I emphasized my invitation for the President of Brazil to visit our country and see the heroism of Ukrainians with his own eyes, our real attitude to peace for the entire Ukrainian land, for all our cities and communities that are currently being hit by Russian terrorists,” said the President of Ukraine.
Volodymyr Zelenskyi approved a comprehensive strategic plan for reforming our law enforcement system – all law enforcement agencies and the prosecutor’s office. This is a detailed document, which is designed to last until the 27th year.
“To put it simply, we must provide such a system of guaranteeing justice and law and order for our country, which will also meet our goal of Ukraine’s rapid accession to the EU, – we add to our readiness to realize this goal, and, what is no less important, – we guarantee the foundations of a new social agreements, which are obviously being outlined now in the defense of our state.
Every element of the state system – law enforcement agencies, first of all – must work so that people really feel safe and protected, so that people really feel justice, so that it is guaranteed at the level of institutions, at the level of the everyday work of those by whom people judge the state. Trust in the state, trust in the state is formed from trust in those who act on behalf of the state. Law enforcement officers, the prosecutor’s office system are key in this. Of course, together with everyone else who works in the state apparatus,” – Volodymyr Zelenskyi.
