Ukraine will not break – it will stand up and expel Russian evil from its land – address of the President

In his address on October 22, Volodymyr Zelenskyy noted the successes of certain combat units at the front and talked about the consequences of the Russian missile attack on the Nova Poshta terminal in the Kharkiv region, as a result of which the company’s employees were killed.

“Dear Ukrainians, Ukrainian women!

First of all, regarding the Russian attack on the Novaya Poshta terminal near Kharkiv. The rescue operation was completed, the necessary assistance was provided to all victims. There are 17 of them in total. Six people were killed by this strike. My condolences to the relatives and friends of the deceased!

We will definitely respond to Russia’s every manifestation of its terror. And on this blow as well.

Terrorists will do nothing to break the Ukrainian will to protect and defend its state, its independence. People’s willingness to work for the sake of their country, for the sake of their Ukraine. Willingness to fight so that Moscow would never have any real reason to hope that Ukraine would ever break. Will not break. Endure It will last. And in spite of everything, the Russian evil was expelled from its land.

The main thing is the front, our defense, our actions, our results, helping everyone who is currently in battle, at combat posts, at positions. Every day we need a result for Ukraine – to resist the Russian assaults, destroy the occupiers, move forward. Even for a kilometer, even for 500 meters, but forward every day to improve Ukrainian positions, to put pressure on the occupiers. This adds strength to the state. This motivates the whole world to help us. And this proves that Russia’s terror will not work.

Today, I want to celebrate our soldiers who have shown themselves especially these weeks. Soldiers who especially helped Ukraine. In different directions, in different tasks. But equally powerful, equally effective.

Kupyansky direction, Kharkiv region. Soldiers of our strong 57th Separate Motorized Infantry Brigade and 1st Mechanized Battalion of the 67th Separate Mechanized Brigade – I thank you! Just well done!

The Avdiiv and Mar’in directions are particularly tough. Numerous Russian attacks. But our positions are protected. The 53rd and 110th Separate Mechanized Brigades, the 59th Separate Motorized Infantry and the Seventy-Nineth Paratroopers – I thank all of you, soldiers, for a truly exemplary defense. Something that gives confidence to the whole country.

And every time it is an honor for me to thank the soldiers of the 55th separate artillery brigade, which actively and effectively helps all our guys to defend Donetsk region.

Limansky Direction – Thank you for disrupting the plans of the occupier. Our 68th separate hunting brigade and units of the glorious 95th separate brigade of the DSHV. Well done, guys!

The Bakhmut direction – both defense, and our assaults, and our results are very, very good. I thank the soldiers of the 92nd Separate Assault Brigade and the 93rd Separate Mechanized Brigade. I thank you guys for your strength!

And among all the directions in the south, I want to especially note the paratroopers of the 46th Airmobile Brigade – the Melitopol direction. Thank you, guys, for the fact that you are really helping the entire front with your results.

And next week will add more opportunities for Ukraine – for our defense, for our protection from Russian terror, for our Peace Formula, which continues to unite the world.

I spoke with the Emir of Qatar today and thanked him, in particular, for his willingness to join the next meeting on the Peace Formula, as well as for his continued support for our territorial integrity and sovereignty. They also talked about Qatar’s mediation in the release of deported and captured Ukrainians.

Thank you to everyone in the world who helps Ukraine! I also thank everyone in our country who uses every day so that we, the entire Ukrainian people, become stronger!

Kudos to you all!

Glory to Ukraine!”, the President noted.
