A defender from Zolochiv Oblast returned home from Russian captivity

The man was in captivity for more than six months, the soldier was released at the beginning of February.

This was announced by the head of Lviv OVA Maksym Kozytskyi. He noted that during the night of March 19 and 20, threats of rocket attacks were not recorded in Lviv region. Today, at 09:11, sirens announced the danger. The threat continues.

“Our countryman returned home to Zolochiv district after being captured by the Soviets. Peter was in captivity for more than half a year. The soldier was released in early February. At first he underwent rehabilitation. After that, he finally returned to his native home. Thanks to the defender. We are waiting for the return of all our soldiers,” Maksym Kozytskyi said.

In addition, another 80 people arrived in the Lviv region by evacuation trains during the day. 1,181 people from our region went to Przemyśl.

Today, new school buses were handed over to 9 communities of Lviv Oblast – Glynyansk, Pustomytivsk, Novokalynivsk, Dobromylsk, Zhydachivsk, Morshinsk, Slavsk, Dobrotvirsk and Sokalsk. They will serve instead of those that were given to the needs of the army, as well as those that needed replacement due to a long period of operation. A total of 126 “students” were purchased centrally by the Lviv OVA with the funds of the regional budget, co-financing of territorial communities and the remaining funds of the educational subvention. Buses are produced gradually, taking into account the situation in the country. In addition to these 126 vehicles, we plan to completely close the bus needs of our schools this year.

In the church of the Cathedral of the Most Holy Theotokos, the OCU of the village of Remeniv, Lviv district, held a charity event “God, save Ukraine”. They collected 16 thousand 300 hryvnias – all for the needs of the Armed Forces.

In Novoyavorivsk, with the participation of clergymen and parishioners of all denominations, a Holy Procession “To the sounds of war” took place. Such a united march was held through the streets of the city for the first time. Thank you for the spiritual unity, it makes us stronger.
