The community of Drohobych received sad news from the front. Another defender of Ukraine joined the ranks of the Heavenly Battalion. Taras Kondur, 34, was killed while defending Ukraine.
Taras Kondur was born on September 8, 1989 in the village of Hrushev. He graduated from Hrushev school and then from the 15th school.
After his marriage, he lived in Nove Selo.
On Easter itself in 2022, Taras was mobilized and stood up to defend Ukraine as part of the 67th Battalion of the 103rd Brigade of the TRO. Since then, he has been on the front lines, going through the hot spots of the front.
Having taken a military oath of allegiance to the Ukrainian people, Taras bravely performed his military duty. The warrior died in a battle with the enemy on August 7, 2024, near the village of Dariino, Kursk region.
The fallen soldier is survived by his wife, two children, parents, two brothers and a sister.
Drohobych City Council, its Executive Committee, Mayor Taras Kuchma, Council Secretary Orest Karakevych and Stebnytsia Starosta District Head Taras Horodysky express their sincere condolences to the family, relatives, friends and relatives of our countryman and Hero Taras Kondur.
