The Novoyavoriv community lost Hero Antoshko Oleg Ivanovich, a courageous Defender who gave his life for the Motherland
Oleg went to the front line with the desire to help Ukraine in this extremely difficult time. But the occupiers ended his life on July 29 near Bakhmut, Donetsk region.

The Hero’s prayer meeting will take place on August 2 at 10:30 a.m. on the central street opposite the building. No. 3 st. 50th anniversary of the UPA.
Farewell and the funeral ceremony will take place on August 2 at 11:30 in the Church of the Holy Apostles Peter and Paul in Novoyavorivsk. The Ukrainian soldier will be buried at the local cemetery.
Oleg Ivanovich Antoshko was born in the city of Novoyavorivsk on October 31, 1990.
After graduating from the Novoyavoriv School No. 1, he entered the Sambir Technical School of Economics and Informatics. He also studied by correspondence at the Ternopil University of Science and Economics, majoring in computer engineering.
He worked as an operator at Brama LLC, and on March 23, 2023, he went to defend his native land.
“Oleg was very purposeful. With his persistence and strong will, he brought every matter he undertook to completion. The heart of this wonderful man was full of love for his family and a deep understanding of family values. He was a loving father of a wonderful daughter”, – this is how Oleg was seen by his relatives.
At home, his wife Oksana and daughter Zlata, parents Ivan Volodymyrovych and Olga Bogdanivna, brother Volodymyr and his family were waiting for the soldier at home.
