Military medic Anton Shevchuk (call sign “Rastishka”) has passed away to the Heavenly Legion.
The sad news was reported by the Sheptytsky City Council.
The Hero’s life is closely connected with our city – Anton Shevchuk studied at school No. 4 and later worked as a doctor at the Chervonohrad Central City Hospital.
The hero was an active participant in the Revolution of Dignity and joined the Armed Forces of Ukraine in 2014. During his time in the army, the warrior saved many of his comrades-in-arms, leading the medical company of the 59th Brigade and the evacuation and triage unit.
We bow low to the Defender, to whom we are all indebted. We express our sincere condolences to the family and friends of the Hero. We share the pain of irreparable loss and bow our heads in sorrow. May we rest in peace.
