After 22 months of uncertainty and great hope, Hero Vasyl Demchuk, a resident of Volytsia village, returns home on a shield….
The sad news was reported by the Sokal City Council.
Demchuk Vasyl Romanovych was born on 26 March 1978 in Lviv. As a young boy, he moved with his family to Volytsia, where he graduated from the local school. Later, he became a carpenter. Soon afterwards, he served in the military. He worked at a construction site.
He got married and together with his wife had a son, Danilo. But the damned war took away the joys and worries of family life in an instant. Danylo was not even a month old when his father went to defend our country from the enemy on 4 April 2022.
He had been missing since December 2022. And in July this year, it became known that Vasyl died on 22 December 2022 in the village of Makiivka, Svatove district, Luhansk region.
We express our sincere condolences to his parents Anna and Roman, his wife Ivana and son Danylo, his brother Volodymyr and sister Svitlana. May the Lord give the whole family the strength to survive this difficult grief, and may He grant the fallen Hero eternal life in heaven!
