On Monday, October 23, there will be a meeting of the fallen Hero – a resident of the village of Naguyevychi Stepan Balush.
Stepan returned home from abroad and voluntarily joined the Military Commissariat to join the defense of Ukraine. As part of the 67th separate battalion of territorial defense, he was at the front line positions. Unfortunately, on October 16, while performing combat missions for the defense of Ukraine, Stepan died as a result of receiving a severe brain injury.
The Hero is survived by his parents, brother, wife and son.
The arrival of the convoy with the body of the fallen Hero will take place tomorrow, October 23. The meeting at the Crossroads of Heroes will take place at 2:00 p.m.
From the Crossroads of Heroes, the hearse with the soldier’s body will be taken to his native village of Naguyevichi. Parastas will be held here, in the native house. On Tuesday, October 24 at 11:00 in the church of St. Nikolay in the village of Naguyevichi, a funeral ceremony will be held.
The Hero will be buried at the cemetery in the village of Naguyevichi.
