On Monday, January 13, Lviv will honor the memory of two defenders of Ukraine, Volodymyr Povroznyk and Nazar Pavlyshch, who died protecting their homeland from Russian invaders. The city council calls on residents and visitors to join the farewell ceremonies and refrain from holding entertainment events on this day.

- Funeral service: 11:00 at the Garrison Church of Saints Peter and Paul.
- City farewell ceremony: approximately 11:30 at Rynok Square.
- Burial: Lychakiv Cemetery.

- Funeral service: 11:00 at the Church of the Assumption of the Blessed Virgin Mary (UGCC) in Dublyany.

🕯️ Nazar Pavlyshch
- Born: April 20, 1992.
- Hometown: Dublyany, Lviv region.
- Graduate of Dublyany Lyceum named after Hero of Ukraine Anatolii Zhalovaha.
- Trained as a hairdresser at the Lviv Professional College of Beauty and Fashion.
- Passionate about sports and cooking, known for his kindness, cheerfulness, and willingness to help others.
- Joined the 225th Separate Assault Battalion of the Ukrainian Armed Forces after the full-scale invasion began. Served in Sumy and Kursk directions.
- Survived by his mother, sister, and father, who continues to serve on the front line.
🕯️ Volodymyr Povroznyk
- Born: April 22, 1997.
- Hometown: Lviv. Graduate of Secondary School #7 and Lviv Higher Vocational School of Computer Technology and Construction.
- Worked repairing computer equipment at the city’s radio market, deeply passionate about his work.
- Joined the 67th Separate Mechanized Brigade of the Ukrainian Armed Forces from the first days of the full-scale invasion. Served in Sumy and Kursk directions.
- Survived by his grandmother, mother, and uncle.
