Tomorrow Lviv will say goodbye to two Heroes: Rustem Mamut oglu Ablyatifov and Yevhen Dovgan died in battles with the Russian invaders

Tomorrow, September 30, Lviv will say goodbye to two more Heroes. Rustem Mamut oglu Ablyatifov and Yevhen Dovgan were killed in battles with the Russian invaders.

Yevhen Dovgan’s funeral will be held in the Garrison Church of Sts. App. Peter and Paul at 11:00. At 11:30 a.m. – a city farewell ceremony for the Hero on Rynok Square. A serviceman will be buried in the village of Snovichi of Zolochiv district.

The funeral rite and farewell ceremony for Rustem Mamut oglu Ablyatifov will take place tomorrow according to Muslim tradition. The city ceremony, where you can say goodbye and pay your respects to the soldier, will take place on the Market Square at 2:00 p.m. Then at 2:30 p.m. – a farewell ceremony at the Islamic Cultural Center named after Muhammad Asad, located at 29A Lincoln Street. The Hero will be buried in a separate field of the Goloskiv cemetery next to the burials of the Crimean Tatars.

 

Biographical references of Heroes

Rustem Mamut oglu Ablyatifov (03.12.1964-24.09.2022) Odessa. He graduated from the National University “Odesa Maritime Academy” as an external student, later from the Tavria Institute of Entrepreneurship and Law and the Ukrainian Academy of Public Administration under the President of Ukraine. He earned a Doctor of Philosophy degree at the Ivan Franko National University of Lviv.
In peacetime, he worked at the former State Committee of Ukraine for Nationalities and Migration, chief consultant of the legal service at the Representation of the President of Ukraine in the Autonomous Republic of Crimea, and deputy director of the limited liability company “Crimean News Agency”.

Participant of the Revolution of Dignity and the Euromaidan-Crimea movement. After the annexation of the peninsula, he moved with his family to Lviv.

He taught the history of Crimea at the Ivan Franko National University of Lviv.

In 2016-2018, he performed combat missions in the ATO zone. With the beginning of a full-scale invasion, he defended the state in the ranks of the 24th separate mechanized brigade named after King Danylo of the “West” operational command of the Ground Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

 

Yevhen Dovgan (March 6, 1963-September 24, 2022) was born in the village of Snovichi, Lviv region.
Began at the Snovitsky institution of general secondary education of grades I-III. He graduated from the Separate Structural Unit “Lviv Vocational College of the Lviv National University of Nature Management”.

After completing his studies, during 1981-1983 he served in the air defense forces.

In peacetime, he worked at the former Lviv House Building Plant No. 2 and at the construction company PJSC “Holding Company “Eko-Dim”.

With the beginning of a full-scale invasion, he came to the defense of the Motherland. He fought against the Russian invaders in the ranks of the 24th separate mechanized brigade named after King Danilo of the “West” operational command of the Ground Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

Yevhen Dovhany is survived by his wife, daughter and brother.
