Tomorrow, Lviv will say goodbye to three Heroes

Tomorrow, March 28, Lviv will say goodbye to three Heroes. Oleksiy Boguta, Ivan Bandrivskyi, Ihor Luchechko died in the battle with the Russian invaders. The City Hall calls on Lviv residents and guests to join the city’s farewell ceremony and to refrain from entertainment events and celebrations during this time.

The funeral of the Heroes will begin at 11:00 a.m. in the Garrison Church of Sts. App. Peter and Paul, at 11:30 a.m. – city farewell ceremony on Rynok Square.

Heroes will be buried at the Lychakiv cemetery.

Biographical references of Heroes

 

Ihor Luchechko (26.09.1999-22.03.2023). A native of Lviv.

 

He studied at the Sukhovil institution of general secondary education of the I-III degrees named after Halyna Stolyar, Lviv region. He graduated from the State Educational Institution “Lviv Vocational Lyceum of Railway Transport”, acquired the profession of “Flumber Plumber. Electric gas boiler”.

In peacetime, he worked as a road worker at the Lviv communal enterprise “Road Repair Enterprise of Halytsky District”.

Performed combat tasks in the anti-terrorist operation area as part of the 14th separate mechanized brigade named after Prince Roman the Great of the “West” operational command of the Ground Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. For personal courage, he was awarded numerous awards, in particular, the badge “Participant of ATO”. With the beginning of the full-scale invasion, the Russian Federation returned to the ranks of the 14th brigade.

Ihor Luchechka is survived by his parents, brother, grandmother and fiancée.

 

Oleksiy Boguta (July 2, 1981-March 19, 2023).

 

Oleksiy Boguta (July 2, 1981-March 19, 2023). He was born in Krasnoyarsk in the family of a military man.
Studied at Secondary Secondary School No. 95 in the city of Lviv. Received higher education at Lviv Polytechnic National University, majoring in telecommunications.

During a certain period, he was engaged in video and photography, later he worked in the field of transportation. He was fond of cars and technology.

With the beginning of the full-scale invasion, he joined the ranks of the 58th Separate Motorized Infantry Brigade named after Hetman Ivan Vyhovskyi of the operational command “North” of the Ground Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine to defend the Motherland, and was the commander of a machine gun platoon. Fought against the occupiers in the Donetsk region.

Oleksiy Boguta is survived by his parents, grandmother, wife and two daughters.

Ivan Bandrivskyi (June 20, 1972-March 23, 2023).

 

Ivan Bandrivskyi (June 20, 1972-March 23, 2023). A native of Khlopchytsi village, Lviv region.
Studied at the Boys’ Institution of general secondary education of the I-III grades. Subsequently, he received a vocational and technical education at the Lviv Film School. After completing his studies, he served in the military in the city of Kotovsk (today – Podilsk), Odesa region. During his service he was a member of the military band.

Police Major. He devoted most of his time to the fight against illegal drug trafficking, working in the Frankiv district police department. He was temporarily dismissed from the position of head of the operative search department of the criminal investigation department of the Lviv City Police Department.

Took an active part in the events during the Orange Revolution and the Revolution of Dignity. In his spare time he liked to do crafts and play volleyball.

With the beginning of the full-scale invasion, he actively engaged in volunteer activities. Later, as a veteran of the Ministry of Internal Affairs, together with his brother, he joined the ranks of the territorial defense. Performed combat tasks as part of the 125th separate territorial defense brigade of the “West” regional administration of the Territorial Defense Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

Ivan Bandrivskyi is survived by his wife, son, daughter, daughter-in-law and mother-in-law.
