Tomorrow, November 4, Lviv will say goodbye to Hero Andrii Bilyak, who died in the battle with the Russian invaders.
The City Hall calls on Lviv residents and guests to join the city’s farewell ceremony and to refrain from entertainment events and celebrations during this time.
The funeral will take place at 11:00 a.m. in the Garrison Church of Sts. App. Peter and Paul, at 11:30 a.m. – city farewell ceremony on Rynok Square. The soldier will be buried at the Lychakiv cemetery.

Biographical reference of the Hero
He studied at Lyceum No. 81 named after Petro Sahaidachny of the Lviv City Council. He graduated from Lviv Polytechnic National University with a degree in Computer Science.
Andriy Bilyak (November 29, 1984-October 29, 2022). A native of Lviv.
In peacetime, he held the position of manager at ESO-Avtotechniks Limited Liability Company. He was fond of fishing and cars.
With the beginning of a full-scale invasion, he stood up to protect the Motherland from the Russian invaders. He defended the territorial integrity and sovereignty of the state in the ranks of the 125th separate territorial defense brigade of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
Andrii Bilyak is survived by his wife, two daughters, parents, brother and godson.
