Tomorrow, November 15, Lviv will say goodbye to Hero Andrii Reznikov, who died defending Ukraine. The City Hall calls on Lviv residents and guests to join the city’s farewell ceremony and to refrain from entertainment events and celebrations during this time.
The funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m. in the Garrison Church of Sts. App. Peter and Paul, at 11:30 a.m. – city farewell ceremony on Rynok Square. The soldier will be buried at the Lychakiv cemetery.

Biographical reference of the Hero
Andriy Reznikov (November 25, 1981-November 7, 2022). A native of Lviv.
He studied at the “Intellect” Lyceum of the Lviv City Council. Graduated from the Separate Structural Unit “Lviv Vocational College of Food Technologies and Business of the National University of Food Technologies” majoring in pastry chef.
In 1999, he served in the ranks of the Israel Defense Forces (IDF). In addition, he received his education in the city of Ariel, where he later began his career.
In 2010, he returned to his homeland and engaged in entrepreneurial activities.
From the first day of the full-scale invasion of the Russian Federation, he joined the ranks of the territorial defense. He fought against the occupiers as part of the 125th separate territorial defense brigade of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. During his service, he studied by correspondence at the Faculty of Law.
Andriy Reznikov is survived by his mother, wife, daughter and older brother.
