On Saturday, July 8, the Lviv community will say goodbye to Hero Andrii Kunynets, who died defending Ukraine from the Russian invaders. The funeral will take place in Bryukhovychy.
Parastas will begin at 12:00 in the yard of the building (13 Burshtynova St., Bryukhovychy township). At 1:00 p.m., the funeral service will take place in the Church of the Nativity of the Blessed Virgin Mary (6, St. Izdryka street, Bryukhovychy township). The Hero will be buried at the local cemetery in Bryukhovychy.
Biographical reference of the Hero
Andriy Kunynets (October 4, 1989-June 24, 2023) Born in the urban-type village of Bryukhovychi.
Studied at Secondary Secondary School No. 41 in the city of Lviv. He studied at the Lviv Polytechnic National University. He worked in the construction industry, engaged in repairs and plaster stucco. During the last year, he worked at an enterprise for the production of granite monuments.
In his free time, he was fond of literature and fishing, loved spending time with his children.
With the beginning of a full-scale invasion of the Russian Federation, he joined the ranks of the 5th separate assault brigade of the operational command “North” of the Ground Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine to defend the Motherland. Performed combat missions in Donetsk region.
Andrii Kunynets is survived by his mother, wife and two children.
