Tomorrow, the Lviv community will say goodbye to Pavlo Sech and Igor Komplikevych

On Wednesday, January 17, the Lviv community will say goodbye to two servicemen, Pavel Sech and Igor Komplikevych, who died defending Ukraine from the Russian invaders.

The funeral service of Pavel Sekh will begin at 11:00 a.m. in the Church of the Holy Apostles Peter and Paul, st. Lukasevicha, 15. The soldier will be buried at the Ryasnyansky cemetery.

Farewell to Ihor Komplikevych will begin at 12:00 in the military man’s native home (Pidbirtsi village, Romanyuka St. 9), after which the funeral service will be held in the local church of St. Nicholas. The soldier will be buried at the cemetery in the village of Pidbirtsi.

Biographical references of defenders

Pavlo Sekh (03.08.1985-12.01.2024) was born in the village of Peremyvka, Lviv region.

Studied at Secondary Secondary School No. 92 of the city of Lviv. He was educated at the Higher Vocational School No. 63 of the city of Lviv (today it is the Lviv Higher Vocational School of Transport Technologies and Service of the National Transport University).

After completing his studies, he completed his military service at the 169th educational center “Desna” named after Prince Yaroslav the Wise.

He was engaged in the repair of facades in the city of Lviv. In his free time, he was fond of football and fishing. He was an extremely calm and hardworking person, he loved to manage.

With the beginning of the full-scale invasion of the Russian Federation, he joined the ranks of the 25th separate rifle battalion of the Ground Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine to defend the Motherland from the Russian invaders. Performed combat missions in the eastern direction.

Pavel Sekh is survived by his mother, stepfather, three brothers and two sisters.

He studied at the Pidbirtsiv Lyceum of the Lviv City Council. He was educated at the Lviv Vocational College of Construction, Architecture and Design.

After completing his studies, he worked in the construction industry in the city of Lviv. He led an active lifestyle, loved to travel.

With the beginning of the full-scale invasion, he volunteered to defend the Motherland from the Russian invaders. Performed combat missions to protect the sovereignty and territorial integrity of the state in the eastern direction as part of the 214th separate special battalion OPFOR of the International Center for Peacekeeping and Security of the National Academy of Ground Forces named after Hetman Petro Sahaidachny.

Igor Komplikevych is survived by his mother, two sisters and three children
