The burial rite will begin on Sunday, 14 July, at 14.00 in the Church of the Apostles Peter and Paul.

On 06 July, 2024, in the Kupyansk direction, Hero Ruslan Lenko, born in 1985, a resident of Sokal, died while performing a combat mission to protect the territorial integrity of the Motherland, repelling and deterring armed aggression.
He was called up for military service on 14 March 2024, served as a driver of a machine gun squad in the military unit A-4858.
