Today, our fallen Hero, Victor Sybal from Sokal, returned to his hometown forever
We ask the community to meet the Hero with honor, pray for the repose of his soul and ask the Lord for strength for his relatives to endure the pain of loss.
The Sokal City Council reports this.
The memorial service will be held today at 5:00 p.m. in the mourning room of the Church of St. Peter and Paul. Funeral service – on Monday at 12:00.
The Defender will be buried at the city cemetery on the Alley of Glory.

On December 9, the Sokal City Council reported sad news. On December 6, the Defender of Ukraine, Sergeant Sybal Viktor Volodymyrovych, a resident of the city of Sokal, died during a combat encounter with the enemy and shelling in the area of Opytne settlement of Bakhmut district of Donetsk region. He was called up for military service on June 3, 2022, served as a grenade launcher in military unit A0998.

Viktor Sybal gave the most valuable thing – his life – for our peace and tranquility. We will not forget the Hero’s feat and remember the price of our freedom. 🇺🇦Heroes don’t die!
