Tomorrow, on 1 October, on the Day of Defenders of Ukraine, the Hero Vitaliy Budzinsky, a resident of the village of Potorytsia, will return home “on a shield”.

“We ask the community to postpone all affairs, work and at 15.00 near the church of Ss. Peter and Paul with flags, lamps, fresh flowers to meet our Hero, who laid down his young life for each of us. From now on, he will be 26 forever.
After the meeting in Sokal, the funeral cortege will head to the village of Potorytsia, where a parastas will be held. On Wednesday, 02 October, at 13.00, the funeral service for Vitaliy Budzinsky will begin.

On 26 September 2024, near the village of Nelipivka, Bakhmut district, Donetsk region, while performing combat missions to repel the enemy, as a result of mortar shelling of enemy positions, our young warrior, full of prosperity and strength, BUDZINSKYI Vitaliy Oleksandrovych, born on 23.03.1998, a resident of the village of Potorytsia, sustained an incompatible with life injury.
