First aid kit: what is important to take with you to the storage of medicines

The Ministry of Health reminds residents that in the event of a report of danger in the shelter, in addition to warm clothes, water and food, you must bring a first aid kit.

Put everything you need in a special bag or cosmetic bag.

What exactly should be in the first aid kit:

– Plasters of different sizes;
– Activated charcoal from intoxication;
– A drug to reduce fever;
– Drug for anesthesia;
– Antiallergic drug;
– Medications for diarrhea;
– Medicines for gastric infection;
– Drops in case of infectious and inflammatory eye diseases;
– Stock of masks;
– Thermometer.

If you have a chronic illness and are receiving regular treatment, do not forget to take medication with you. Medications you are taking (at least one weekly dosage) should describe the method of administration and dose.

It will be recalled that the storage facility is an airtight structure for people to stay in case of an emergency. To find such premises, look for “Shelter” or “Civil Protection Object”. There must also be a telephone number of the person who will open the front door in case of danger. If not, contact your local authorities for information.

To prepare, the Ministry of Health advises:

– clarify the addresses of the nearest shelters by phone or on the official website of the local authority;

– write 2-3 addresses of the shelters closest to you in order to have an alternative in case the one you come to is filled;

– study and pass the route to these buildings in advance;

– personally check the state of their readiness and inform the local authorities if the shelter needs repair.
