6,500 hryvnias to the employer for employing IDPs
In accordance with the Resolution of the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine No. 331 dated 20.03.2022 “On approval of the Procedure for providing compensation to the employer for labor costs for the employment of internally displaced persons as a result of hostilities during martial law in Ukraine”, the employer is provided with compensation for labor costs for each employed a person from the number of internally displaced persons (IDPs) as a result of hostilities during martial law in Ukraine at the expense of the reserve fund of the state budget.
Expense compensation is provided in the amount of 6,500 hryvnias per month for each employed person, for whom the employer pays a single contribution to the mandatory state social insurance, for the period of wartime and within 30 calendar days after its cancellation or termination.
The total duration of providing compensation for expenses cannot exceed two months from the day of employment of the person.
In order to receive compensation for expenses, the employer submits an application for compensation of expenses to the city, district, city-district employment center or a branch of the regional employment center no earlier than five calendar days after the employment of the person.
During April-July 2022, 7 employers applied to the Novoyavoriv city branch of the Lviv Regional Employment Center to receive compensation for the labor costs of IDPs for the employment of 9 workers, including 3 – legal entities and 4 – FOP. Positive decisions on providing such compensation were made for all 7 employers.
