The Chervonograd City Council received a letter from the district office of the State Emergency Service of Ukraine in the Lviv region, which refers to compliance with fire safety requirements during the operation of gasoline or diesel generators with relevant recommendations:
generators can only be used outdoors;
they must be equipped with fire extinguishers;
it is necessary to install generators so that the distance to the nearest surface (wall or window) is at least 6 meters;
you can fill them only in the open air, first wait for them to cool down;
the generator must be protected from moisture;
it is forbidden to independently change the design of the electrical appliance.
