Employment contract: your safety belt in the world of work

Employment contract: Your safety belt in the world of work

(an employment contract does not guarantee that rights will not be violated, it provides an opportunity to protect them)

1.    Do you know what undeclared work is?

This is when you work without an employment contract, do not pay taxes and do not receive social security.

This is when you do not have the right to vacation, sick pay, pension, social insurance.

This is when you cannot protect yourself from the wrongful actions of the employer.

This is when you work for yourself and for him, not for yourself and for the country.

Do not accept undeclared work, because you lose more than you earn.

Declared work is your future and your dignity!

2.    What do you lose by working without an employment contract?

Undeclared work is not only a violation of the law, but also a loss of rights and guarantees for workers.

If you work without an employment contract, you cannot count on guaranteed paid holidays, sick leave, or compensation in case of an accident. You also have no protection against arbitrary dismissal, salary reduction, work overload. Do not be fooled by employers who offer you to work without an employment contract, with a salary “in an envelope” or under civil law contracts.

Demand registration of labor relations in accordance with the law!

Declared work is your right and your benefit!

3.    Are you a business owner and using undeclared labour?

Remember that undeclared work is a risk for you and your business.

You may lose experienced and qualified employees who will find a better place to work.

You may receive a fine for violating labor laws.

You may have problems with obtaining loans, investments, government orders.

You worsen the economic situation in the country, especially during the war, reducing revenues to the budget and social funds.

Pay your employees a white salary and issue them with an employment contract.

Declared work is your reputation and your success!

4.    How is an employment contract concluded?

The employee must write an application for employment, provide a passport, TIN, and, if necessary, educational documents or other documents.

The employer issues an order to hire an employee, familiarizes the employee with it, sends a message to the territorial body of the tax service, and trains the employee in safe work.
