On December 13 at 8:46 PM, the Emergency Service “101” received a report about a fire in the village of Potelych, on Promyslova Street, in the Lviv district. The fire broke out in a one-story utility building with an attic, covered with metal sheeting, measuring 10×8 meters.
Firefighters from the following units promptly arrived at the scene:
- The 48th State Fire and Rescue Unit of Rava-Ruska,
- The 54th State Fire and Rescue Post of Nemyriv,
- The local fire brigade of Giyche.
The fire was localized at 9:55 PM and fully extinguished by 10:33 PM. Thanks to the quick response, the spread of the fire to a nearby residential building was prevented.
A total of 10 firefighters and 3 specialized vehicles were involved in the firefighting operation.
Fortunately, no one was injured in the incident. The cause of the fire is being investigated by experts.
