Criminal police operatives, investigators and employees of other units of the Stryi district police department exposed the perpetrator.
During the authorized search of the residence of a 35-year-old resident of the district center, law enforcement officers discovered and seized: zip bags with substances that look like psychotropic substances “PVP” and “cannabis”, as well as psilocybin mushrooms, packaging materials, electronic scales, money, proceeds from illegal activity and other physical evidence. Everything removed is directed to expert research.
Investigators of the territorial division of the police, under the procedural guidance of the Stryi District Prosecutor’s Office, informed the perpetrator of the suspicion of committing a criminal offense provided for in Part 2 of Article 307 (Illegal production, manufacture, acquisition, storage, transportation, forwarding or sale of narcotic drugs, psychotropic substances or their analogues) of the Criminal Code of Ukraine. The sanction of the article provides for punishment – deprivation of liberty for a term of six to ten years with confiscation of property.
