On April 18, at 17:46, the Rescue Service “101” received a report about a fire in the village of Podryasne on St. Michurina 13, Lviv district in a two-story two-section brick residential building, size 14×8 m.
The fire and rescue departments of the city of Lviv and villages were sent to the scene of the incident. Bryukhovychy, as well as the operational coordination center of the State Emergency Service of Ukraine in the Lviv region.
When firefighters arrived at the scene, the fire quickly spread through the wooden structures of the house and the roof was engulfed in flames. The fire was accompanied by dense smoke. Firefighters worked in special respiratory and eye protection devices.
At 6:38 p.m., the fire was localized and at 6:42 p.m. it was extinguished by the 2nd units of the gas and smoke protection service. As a result of the fires, the roof on an area of 60 sq.m., household items on an area of 20 sq.m., and four metal-plastic windows were damaged.
However, thanks to the coordinated and professional actions of the rescuers, it was possible to prevent the further spread of the fire and save the residential building from being destroyed by fire.
22 personnel and 4 units of special equipment were involved in extinguishing the fire. No one was injured as a result of the incident. The causes and circumstances of the fire are being established.
